  • I/S Math Teacher-Tutor, Mississauga

    Teacher–Tutor (Intermediate/Senior Math)


    Location: Mississauga, ON (In-Person)

    Compensation: $30+/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

    Schedule: Flexible Part-Time Hours

    We are seeking an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) with strong Intermediate/Senior Math experience to provide individualized, in-person academic support to a high school student in Mississauga.


    This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys one-on-one instruction, building meaningful relationships with students, and seeing the direct impact of their teaching.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Provide individualized, in-person tutoring aligned with the Ontario Curriculum
    • Deliver engaging and differentiated math instruction at the high school level
    • Assess student needs and adapt instructional approaches accordingly
    • Build student confidence, independence, and academic skills
    • Maintain professional communication with the Goode Learning team regarding student progress
    • Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment

    Qualifications


    The successful candidate will have:

    • Membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
    • Intermediate and/or Senior Math qualifications strongly preferred
    • 1+ years of classroom teaching experience
    • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience supporting diverse learners and varying learning profiles
    • A passion for helping students achieve their potential

  • Teacher-Tutor, Mississauga

    In-Office | Mississauga, ON

    $30 per hour


    Position Overview


    We are currently seeking a certified teacher-tutor to provide in-office academic support in Mississauga in a variety of subject areas. 



    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide in-office tutoring and academic support aligned with the Ontario Curriculum.
    • Deliver personalized and differentiated instruction based on the student’s learning profile.
    • Develop creative and engaging lesson plans that meet individual learning needs.
    • Track student progress and maintain clear documentation using educational technology tools (e.g., Google Classroom, online journals, learning apps).
    • Collaborate with the Goode Learning team and maintain open communication regarding student progress and goals.
    • Foster a supportive, encouraging learning environment that builds confidence and academic independence.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
    • 1–2+ years of classroom teaching experience
    • Strong knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum and current educational pedagogy
    • Experience working with diverse learners and varying learning profiles
    • Proven ability to apply differentiated instruction strategies
    • Comfort using educational technology tools (e.g., Google Classroom, digital learning platforms)
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • A growth mindset, flexibility, and enthusiasm for supporting student success

Please Note: Our Teacher-Tutors are Independent Contractors and must be in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, with no terms or conditions.
